Skilled Labourer

About the Company We are proud to represent our client, a well-established and respected entity in the building and construction sector. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to expand their team by hiring a Labourer for a permanent, full-time position within their yard team. About the Role In this role, you will work outdoors and be exposed to various weather conditions. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Unloading trucks using a forklift - Sorting and stacking products, which requires physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive lifting - Reading orders and packing items for dispatch - Loading packed orders onto trucks Requirements We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria: - Physically fit and capable of handling lifting and manual tasks - Possess sound numeracy and literacy skills, enabling you to read orders, count items, and measure accurately - Exhibit a positive attitude towards work, demonstrating motivation and reliability - Forklift experience and a license are advantageous, though not mandatory - Maintain a tidy presentation and communicate respectfully This position is available for an immediate start and will initially be offered as a temporary work assignment. The hours of work are between 7 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts required.
