About the Role We are currently seeking a full-time ultrasound technician to join our dynamic and supportive team. This permanent position requires a commitment of 1.0 FTE, working 80 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate will work in our well-equipped ultrasound department, performing a variety of investigations including general abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, musculoskeletal, and vascular studies. Our radiology team is known for its friendly and collaborative atmosphere. We work closely with the community to promote health, well-being, and independence. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, respects individual patient needs, and is driven by achieving excellent clinical outcomes. Requirements To be considered for this position, you will need: - Experience in general, vascular, upper abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and musculoskeletal ultrasound areas. - New Zealand registration and a current annual practicing certificate in ultrasound. - Strong technical skills and a solid knowledge base in ultrasound practices. - Well-developed communication and critical thinking skills, with a commitment to family-centered care. - The ability to work independently as well as part of a small team. - A dedication to delivering quality healthcare and the versatility to adapt to a constantly changing environment. Candidates must also be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid New Zealand visa at the time of application.
