Due to this growth, they are now looking to add a Carpenter to their team. About the Role Are you an experienced builder seeking a new opportunity in the construction industry? We are looking for a friendly and dedicated individual to join our dynamic team as a Carpenter. In this role, you will oversee projects from start to finish, playing a vital role in coordinating various activities. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards of quality. You will work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, fostering a collaborative work environment that values teamwork. We believe that a happy team leads to successful projects, and we prioritize a supportive atmosphere where your ideas and input are appreciated. Responsibilities - Oversee daily activities to ensure adherence to project plans and schedules. - Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of work. - Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety regulations. - Assist in the planning and execution of project schedules. - Help customize quotes to meet the client's needs. - Maintain accurate records of project activities, including progress reports and change orders. - Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and our in-house teams. - Manage and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise during the project. Requirements - Proven experience as a carpenter in the industry. - Strong understanding of construction methods, tools, and safety regulations. - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings. - Relevant certifications in construction management or site supervision are a plus. - A valid driver's license is required.
