About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Civil Workers with a Class 5 license and WTR endorsements for various positions based in Ashburton. These roles offer immediate starts for candidates with civil experience. The work is diverse and includes tasks such as subdivisions, drainage works, 2/4 axle work, tipper work, point A to B carting, and some roading activities. Given the strong demand for our services, we are looking for individuals who thrive in a team environment, possess strong communication skills, and are willing to work extended hours, including potential Saturdays. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria: - A minimum of 3 years of Class 5 R/R driving and/or machine operating experience - Proficiency operating rollers, diggers, and loaders is preferred - A full Class 5 license - Reliable transportation - A strong focus on health and safety - The ability to present well and represent our clients positively - Willingness to pass a drug screening Benefits We offer an excellent starting rate and a consistent workload, with confirmed contracts extending past 2026. Our work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts.
