About the Role
We are excited to offer a Lead Maintenance position within our supportive team. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
In this position, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver efficient and effective maintenance services across our village. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that facilities and grounds are well-maintained and provide a safe environment for all residents, staff, and visitors. You will collaborate with the Ryman Property team and Facilities Manager to execute the planned preventative maintenance and refurbishment program. As a health and safety champion, you will ensure that all health and safety policies and procedures are followed by staff and contractors, maintaining a safe environment at all times. Building strong relationships with your team and colleagues will be key to your success in this role.
About You
To succeed in our caring and supportive environment, you will have:
- Previous experience in a lead maintenance role (trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential)
- The ability to lead a motivated and productive team while managing a diverse contractor and supplier base
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, with experience in generating periodic maintenance and health and safety reports
- A reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor
