About the Role
We are excited to offer a Lead Maintenance position within our supportive team. This is a full-time role with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
In this position, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver efficient and effective maintenance services for our village. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that facilities and grounds are well-maintained and safe for all residents, staff, and visitors. You will collaborate with the Ryman Property team and Facilities Manager to complete the planned preventative maintenance and refurbishment program. As a health and safety champion, you will ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are followed by staff and contractors, fostering a safe environment. Building strong relationships and providing support to your team and colleagues will also be key aspects of your role.
About You
To succeed in our caring and supportive environment, you will possess:
- Previous experience in a lead maintenance role (trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential)
- The ability to lead a motivated and productive team, as well as manage a diverse contractor and supplier base
- Strong problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, including experience in producing periodic maintenance and health and safety reports
- A reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor
