About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee the complete delivery of complex, high-value capital works projects. In this full-time position, you will collaborate closely with a Major Project Director to ensure the successful management of projects within our diverse capital delivery program, which includes significant infrastructure and water asset upgrades throughout our region.
Your role will involve managing multiple Capex-funded infrastructure projects while adhering to our delivery standards and achieving key objectives related to time, cost, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple Capex-funded infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with external delivery providers and integrate all suppliers into cohesive project teams.
- Align with project governance and reporting requirements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively managing escalations.
- Lead contract scoping and negotiate value-driven agreements with suppliers.
- Foster a strong health and safety culture throughout all project stages.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience:
- A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Process Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in delivering complex infrastructure or engineering projects.
- A deep understanding of project management principles and delivery frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and risk management capabilities.
