About the Company We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team on a deep-sea factory trawler based out of the Port of Timaru. Our operations focus on the production of surimi and H&G, operating within New Zealand's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). Our voyages typically last between four to six weeks, with brief port turnarounds. About the Role We invite applications for full-time seagoing positions on our factory freezer trawler. We have several positions available, including: - Fishing Master - Captains - First and Second Officers (Mates) - Bosuns - Factory Manager (Surimi) - Manager (H&G and Squid) - Chief Engineer - Second Engineer - Factory Engineer - System Engineer Please note that all positions will require you to work in the factory to process the catch for extended periods. Requirements To be considered for these roles, you should meet the following criteria: - Previous deep-sea fishing experience - Relevant qualifications for the position you are applying for - Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug testing - New Zealand citizenship or possession of a residence class visa In addition to competitive salaries, we offer benefits that may include food parcels, supermarket vouchers, and return flights during your first year of employment.
