About the Role
We are looking for reliable and motivated scaffolders for multiple roles. Flexibility in work locations is preferred, as you may be asked to assist with projects across the country.
The primary responsibilities include dismantling temporary metal scaffolding to create work platforms and structures on various building and industrial sites.
Key Duties
- Determine job requirements by planning and arranging scaffolding.
- Select and prepare necessary materials for the job.
- Load and unload scaffolding and equipment at the work site.
- Erect scaffold structures by lifting and positioning sections, and bolting pipes together.
- Establish platforms and implement safety measures.
- Inspect and repair scaffolding to ensure safety and stability.
- Install guard rails and safety netting.
- Maintain a clean workspace, including tools and equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Pay Conditions
The pay rate ranges from a minimum of $29.66 per hour to a maximum of $34.00 per hour, depending on experience. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2.5 years of relevant scaffolding experience or a relevant qualification.
- Strong time management skills and a solid work ethic.
- Flexibility to work in various locations across New Zealand.
- A commitment to learning and developing skills within the industry.
- Adherence to health and safety practices on-site.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
Location
You may be required to work in multiple locations throughout New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.
This is a permanent, full-time role. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or residents, or hold a valid New Zealand work visa.
