About the Role
We are currently seeking motivated individuals for a full-time sales position in our Lower Hutt store, specifically within the Bedding department. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and fostering lasting relationships with our customers to ensure they have a great shopping experience.
We provide comprehensive training focused on our bedding and linen products, equipping you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in sales. Your primary responsibilities will include selling bedding and linen products and services, utilizing our point of sale and customer service systems, maintaining the presentation of the department, and assisting with operational tasks such as stock takes. This role requires flexibility, as you will work across a 7-day roster that includes weekends and public holidays.
About You
We are looking for a strong communicator who is eager to put in the effort to achieve rewards, as this position offers uncapped commission, allowing you to take control of your earnings. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- A quick learner with a genuine interest in the retail industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer literacy and numeracy skills
- Previous experience in retail sales and familiarity with POS systems is desirable
- Availability to work on weekends and public holidays
