About the Role
We are currently seeking reliable casual labourers to assist with garden maintenance tasks. In this role, you will contribute to a variety of gardening and maintenance activities, including:
- Mowing small plant areas
- Weeding, pruning, and hedge trimming
- Developing new garden beds and landscapes
- Hand-pulling weeds and managing vegetation control
- Performing general labour duties as required
You will work collaboratively within a team to ensure that these outdoor spaces remain attractive and safe for both residents and staff.
Requirements
We welcome applicants with no prior experience in gardening or maintenance. If you enjoy working outdoors and don’t mind getting your hands dirty, we encourage you to apply. Ideally, you should possess:
- A full, current driver’s licence (manual preferred)
- A strong work ethic and a hands-on, can-do attitude
- Knowledge of health and safety practices or a willingness to learn
- Good communication skills, as you may interact with residents
- The physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
