We are currently seeking a committed individual to join our team as a CampusCare Assistant - Security.
About the Role
As a CampusCare Assistant - Security, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our campus. Your main responsibilities will include conducting regular foot and vehicle patrols, monitoring alarms and CCTV systems, and assisting with parking enforcement and traffic compliance. Additionally, you will support room setups, assist with events, and contribute to general operational services.
Your professional engagement with students, staff, and visitors will promote a positive campus atmosphere and enhance overall wellbeing.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, and service excellence. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors and navigate varying terrain
- Excellent communication skills and a respectful, customer-focused approach
- A full, clean New Zealand Class 1 driver’s licence
- A Certificate of Approval (COA) or the ability to obtain one
Please note that candidates will be required to undergo a physical health assessment prior to receiving an employment offer. Additionally, as this role involves working with individuals across the lifespan, applicants must comply with the requirements of the Vulnerable Children Act 2014 and the Vulnerable Children (Requirements for Safety Checks of Children’s Workers) Regulations 2015.
Benefits
The salary band for this position ranges from $49,237 to $65,267, depending on your skills and experience.
