About the Role
We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our expanding team, where customer satisfaction is our primary focus. In this role, you will have the opportunity to receive on-the-job training and develop your skills in the maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial automated doors. This position offers excellent training prospects, with the potential for trade qualification. We seek someone who is committed to a long-term career and enjoys working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
The role will require you to work throughout the Nelson, Tasman, and Marlborough regions, from Monday to Friday, with standard hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Flexibility is essential, as there may be occasions when our clients require our services outside of these hours.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- A qualified electrician with a valid electrical licence or currently working towards one (preferred).
- A full New Zealand Class 1 licence, with the ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Proven experience in a mechanical or technical role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using both hand and power tools.
- A demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices and a focus on customer satisfaction.
