About the Company
We are a respected Master Plumber business located in Queenstown, known for our strong team culture and commitment to excellence. Our company provides a range of services that include residential maintenance, domestic installations, and light commercial projects. With a current team of four apprentices, we are excited to welcome a new individual eager to start their journey in the plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying trades in 2025.
About the Role
As an apprentice with us, you will dive right into hands-on learning from your first day. This role involves various tasks such as:
- Performing residential maintenance and installations
- Engaging in light commercial work
- Installing and repairing pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will earn while you learn, working towards your plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying qualifications over the next 4 to 5 years.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual who possesses a bit of life experience and a strong work ethic. Ideal candidates may have prior experience in another trade or hands-on job, or simply have a passion for practical work and problem-solving. Most importantly, we seek someone who is reliable, eager to learn, and committed to long-term growth.
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- Some level of practical or hands-on experience (preferred)
- At least a restricted driver’s license
- Ability to pass a drug test and pre-employment medical examination
- New Zealand citizenship or residency
