About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Drainlayers to join our team in the Queenstown Lakes region. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their careers in the drainage industry. Whether you are trade qualified or have extensive hands-on experience, we would like to hear from you. As a Drainlayer, you will be part of a crew involved in a variety of projects, ranging from new residential builds to significant civil developments. Your daily responsibilities will include: - Installing and maintaining underground drainage systems - Reading and interpreting site plans and specifications - Assembling pipework, valves, and fittings - Identifying and repairing leaks or blockages - Supporting earthworks and groundwork activities Requirements We are looking for reliable and hard-working Drainlayers who meet the following criteria: - A minimum of 3 years’ experience or relevant trade qualifications - A Class 1 Driver Licence (preferred) - PGDB registration or licence (or in the process of obtaining) - WTR endorsements (an advantage) - A strong commitment to Health & Safety - Two contactable work references - The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Benefits In return for your expertise, we offer: - Competitive pay ranging from $30 to $40 per hour, based on experience - Guaranteed 30+ hours of work per week - Weekly pay along with provided personal protective equipment (PPE) - Long-term job security with ongoing support - A diverse range of commercial, civil, and residential projects to keep your work engaging Ready to Dig In?
