Village Assistant - Night Shift

About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Village Assistant to join our Milldale Village team, with the role extending until January 2026. This position is primarily an overnight role with sole responsibility for ensuring the safety and security of the village. As the first point of contact for all village-related matters during your shift, you will provide a reassuring presence for our residents and respond to any medical or emergency incidents that may occur. Key responsibilities for this position include: - Monitoring village security and responding to any unusual activity - Providing a calm and professional first response to medical emergencies - Liaising with emergency services when necessary - Maintaining clear communication with the Village Manager The work schedule involves two nights per week, specifically on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 am to 8:00 am. Requirements We are looking for a candidate who can bring a calm and confident demeanor to the role. You should be comfortable working independently overnight and possess the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure. The ideal applicant may have experience as a security guard or in a similar position.
