This is an exciting time to join our team and contribute to our journey. About the Role We are seeking skilled and passionate maintenance engineers at all levels to join our growing team. The primary responsibilities of this role include servicing and maintaining our parcel and letter sorting machinery to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet our operational needs. You will handle fault finding and issue resolution as they arise, as well as conduct regular planned maintenance. We are looking for expressions of interest from mechanical, electrical, or maintenance engineers. If you are eager to advance your electrical skills and knowledge and gain qualifications in the electrical field, this role offers an excellent opportunity. You will receive comprehensive training and support to help you excel in your work. Requirements We are looking for candidates who are either experienced maintenance engineers, electricians, or service technicians. You should enjoy fault-finding and be a practical problem solver who remains calm and logical under pressure. Your ability to ensure that any breakdowns are resolved smoothly and efficiently will be essential. In addition to the above, you will need to meet the following qualifications: - New Zealand Electrical Registration or Electrical Service Technician Registration with Papers A and B, or a Mechanical Engineering qualification - A minimum of two years of experience as an electrical or mechanical technician - Control system or programming experience is desirable Hours / Roster All technicians must be prepared to work a rotational roster, which includes a mix of day, afternoon, and night shifts, as well as weekend shifts.
