About the Role
We are currently seeking a Technical Coordinator to join our Planned Works Wellington department. This full-time, permanent position presents a unique opportunity for you to leverage your technical expertise in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring the effective coordination and execution of technical activities. Your responsibilities will include acting as the primary point of contact for technical support and coordination within the department. You will facilitate communication among internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients to ensure smooth project implementation. Additionally, you will assist in planning, scheduling, and executing technical activities to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Regular reviews of technical processes and systems will also be part of your role, with a focus on identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience in technical coordination within the electrical industry, specifically focusing on underground or overhead network infrastructure (both high voltage and low voltage). You should have a demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, particularly those involving fieldwork on network infrastructure.
Proficiency in project management tools and software is essential, along with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the electrical sector. You should be able to analyze technical data and provide insights for decision-making, particularly in relation to electrical network infrastructure projects. Knowledge of electrical engineering principles related to high and low voltage network infrastructure is advantageous.
