About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Asset Inspector to join our team. As a leading provider of electrical infrastructure services, we are committed to ensuring the safety and reliability of our clients' electrical assets.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting condition inspections, maintenance activities, and testing on a wide range of distribution and substation network assets, including overhead structures and ground-mounted equipment.
- Performing overhead pole inspections to verify structural integrity and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Identifying defects using computer software programs or check-sheets as specified and reporting comprehensive defect data.
- Participating in regular review meetings with clients’ technical representatives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Proven experience in electrical asset inspection or a related field.
- A solid understanding of the electrical industry, with experience in both underground and overhead high and low voltage installations.
- The ability to read, comprehend, and review single line drawings and control schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical regulations and industry requirements.
- The capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A current EWRB Practicing Licence or relevant industry experience.
