In this role, you will support the department manager in organizing and leading our team to ensure that we consistently deliver outstanding service to our customers. Your leadership skills and retail experience will be essential as you train and mentor staff while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities will include: - Assisting the department manager in organizing and leading the team - Providing leadership to ensure that our team delivers excellent customer service - Training and mentoring staff to foster their development - Ensuring compliance with the sale of alcohol and tobacco products - Adhering to our Food Control Plan and Health & Safety requirements Requirements The ideal candidate for this position will: - Have proven leadership experience in a customer service role - Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a high level of integrity - Maintain composure under pressure and effectively problem-solve - Drive high standards within the department - Have experience with POS systems - Hold a current Manager's Certificate - Be customer and results-focused Benefits We offer a supportive management structure and numerous personal development opportunities to help you grow in your career with us.
