About the Role
We are excited to offer a permanent, full-time position for an intermediate-level physiotherapist to join our acute inpatient orthopaedic surgical team at Hawke's Bay Hospital. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who has completed junior rotations and is looking for the next step in their career within a supportive environment.
As part of our well-established orthopaedic and surgical service, you will work across surgical and orthopaedic wards that handle trauma, elective orthopaedics, general surgery, and vascular cases for a broad age range. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team in a proactive, patient-centered environment. While the role presents challenges, it is also highly rewarding as you will play a crucial part in the recovery journey of our patients.

About You
We are looking for a candidate with exceptional clinical skills who is passionate about working in fast-paced acute environments. You should possess excellent communication abilities and demonstrate a willingness to support and develop others. The following key skills and attributes are essential for this role:
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent
- New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist with a current annual practising certificate (APC)
- Clean current full New Zealand driver's license
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to build rapport and foster constructive relationships
- Positive attitude with a focus on problem-solving
