About the Role
We are currently seeking a Wastewater Service Technician based in Kaikohe. In this role, you will engage in hands-on work at our water and wastewater treatment plants, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of our vital infrastructure.
Your standard working hours will be from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed. You will be part of a supportive team environment, using mobile devices to manage timesheets and track job progress. Additionally, you will participate in an on-call roster, which averages one week of on-call duty every four weeks. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving in a reactive maintenance role.

Minimum requirements include:
- A Full Class 1 driver’s licence (Class 2 and WTR endorsements are advantageous)
- The ability to pass a drug test
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to the Far North
Additional qualifications that would be beneficial:
- Traffic Control certification
- Enrollment in or interest in the New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Level 3 or 4)
