About the Role We are currently seeking a Water Reticulation Service Technician to join our team in Kaitaia. In collaboration with the Far North District Council, we operate and maintain crucial water infrastructure throughout the region, which includes nine water treatment plants, 17 wastewater treatment plants, over 750 kilometers of pipeline, and more than 100 pump stations. We also engage in minor capital works to enhance these vital assets. In this role, you can expect to: - Work standard hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime - Engage in hands-on activities at water and wastewater treatment plants - Collaborate within a supportive team environment - Utilize mobile devices for timesheet management and job tracking - Participate in an on-call roster, approximately one week in four, with opportunities for additional overtime This position focuses on reactive maintenance and is ideal for individuals who thrive in diverse and problem-solving environments.
