About the Company At Sugar Principle NZ Ltd, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences. We are currently seeking a dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our team in Auckland. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, including five days of work with at least one weekend day. About the Role As our Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in the operational success of our establishment. Your responsibilities will include planning and discussing menus and special offers with our Chef, organizing functions, and managing stock levels while maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for overseeing staff rosters, managing financial transactions, and ensuring that our dining facilities meet the highest standards of hygiene and appearance. In addition, you will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, assess customer satisfaction, and lead a team of waiting and kitchen staff through training and supervision. Promoting our food and services will also be an essential part of your role, along with resolving any operational challenges that may arise. Requirements To be considered for this position, you should have either a relevant NZQF Diploma or higher qualification or a minimum of three years of relevant work experience. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and pays close attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy. You should be proactive, capable of anticipating and resolving issues before they escalate, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Leadership and interpersonal skills are essential, along with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in retail management software and MS Office is required, and you must be able to work according to rosters that include weekends and holidays. Benefits We offer a competitive hourly rate of $30 to $32, reflecting your skills and experience.
