    About the Company At Staff 360, we have been a trusted provider of skilled personnel to Australia’s agricultural sector for over 25 years. Our expertise lies in sourcing top-quality workers for various agricultural operations, including grain, cotton, horticulture, and livestock, both locally and internationally. About the Role We are excited to announce that we are currently hiring experienced farm machinery operators for the upcoming 2025 Australian wheat harvest. This harvest season will begin in early October and continue through the end of the year. We have opportunities available across several key agricultural regions in Australia, specifically in New South Wales, Western Australia, and Victoria. Positions available include: - Tractor Drivers / Farmhands - Combine Harvester Operators - General Farm Labourers Key responsibilities for these roles may include: - Operating self-propelled boom sprayers - Harvesting mixed crops such as wheat, barley, canola, and lupins - Operating combine harvesters and chaser bins - Performing general farm duties, including machinery maintenance, property upkeep, and earthworks Requirements Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications: - Experience in broadacre and/or row cropping environments - Proven ability to operate large-scale machinery, such as John Deere, Case IH, or Claas Lexion models with 45ft fronts, GPS, and yield monitoring technology - Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment servicing skills - A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work long hours during peak harvest periods Job Duration These harvest positions will run from mid-October through December 2024. Long-term employment options may be available for high-performing candidates. Pay and Benefits We offer competitive hourly rates ranging from $30 to $37, depending on the role and location. Accommodation will be provided at all sites, and meals will be included at many locations.
