About the Role We are currently seeking a farm assistant for a contract position lasting more than three months, from mid-July to the end of October 2025. This opportunity is ideal for individuals holding a Working Holiday Visa who are eager to work outdoors, engage with animals, and gain insight into New Zealand's important agricultural practices. This role offers a chance to have a unique experience in New Zealand while also paving a pathway for those interested in a long-term career in the country. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess some or all of the following qualifications: - A good attitude and a strong work ethic are essential - Previous experience in dairy farming is preferred - Milking experience is ideal - Ability to operate a motorbike or quad bike is mandatory for certain positions - Proficient English speaking skills to ensure effective communication and adherence to instructions - A valid driver's license (an international license is acceptable) and your own vehicle - Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions - Flexibility to work rotating rosters - Happy to live in shared accommodation (for some roles, not all) Benefits Our compensation package includes: - An hourly wage plus 8% holiday pay - Accommodation provided - A minimum of 30 hours and an average of 50 hours of work per week If you are interested in this opportunity, please send your CV along with a brief summary of your experience and your contact details to the provided email address.
