About the Role As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents with their daily living and social needs. Your focus will be on encouraging their independence and empowering them to make their own choices. Your key responsibilities will include: - Delivering personalized care to each resident with the highest standards - Supporting residents in maintaining their independence and decision-making - Assisting with daily living activities in alignment with the Eden principles and Domains of Wellbeing - Taking direction and tasks from the Registered Nurse - Ensuring that residents' needs are met effectively and efficiently We are currently seeking two Healthcare Assistants to fill different shifts. One position involves night shift coverage from 11 PM to 7 AM, while the other will cover annual leave and sickness on a rotating roster with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. We offer a fixed roster to help you manage your schedule; however, we welcome flexibility for those interested in picking up additional shifts to provide coverage as needed. We look forward to connecting with you. About You We seek individuals who share our passion for the wellbeing of older adults. You should be enthusiastic, patient, organized, and possess strong interpersonal skills, along with a commitment to our values of empathy, compassion, and respect. Additionally, you will need: - A minimum of a Careerforce Level 2 Health and Wellbeing Certificate or higher - Previous experience in aged care or a healthcare assistant/support worker role - The ability to thrive as an active team member - Good verbal communication and documentation skills - Basic computer skills Benefits When you join Enliven, you will have the opportunity and support to obtain nationally recognized qualifications in Health and Wellbeing, while being part of a dedicated team that delivers high-quality care to our residents.
