About the Role
We are excited to offer a fixed-term, full-time opportunity for an experienced Speech-Language Therapist. If you are seeking a role where you can make a meaningful impact in your community, this position may be the perfect fit for you.
This role requires you to work 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE) from Monday to Friday, and it is designed to cover parental leave for a period of up to 12 months. We also welcome inquiries regarding part-time opportunities.
As a Speech-Language Therapist, you will play a crucial role within our multidisciplinary team. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with the clinical team to assess and manage both acute presentations and long-standing impairments. Your responsibilities will include contributing to discharge planning and providing ongoing interventions to support individuals in maintaining their functionality within their homes and communities.
Team/Service/Location
If you are passionate about working with clients to enhance communication and assess/manage swallowing impairments across various clinical areas, including acute medical, rehabilitation, and pediatrics within a secondary hospital setting, we encourage you to apply. About You

- Registration with the New Zealand Speech-Language Therapists' Association and a current practicing certificate.
