About the Role We are currently seeking New Zealand-registered Reliever Teachers, specifically in Primary or Early Childhood Education (ECE), to join our team at BestStart Timaru. This role offers you the opportunity to have greater control over your schedule while remaining actively involved in the classroom. With four centres located within a short drive of each other in South Canterbury, you will enjoy a diverse work environment while staying local. This flexible position allows you to choose when and where you work, making it ideal for balancing family, study, or other commitments. Your Role As a Reliever Teacher, you will: - Collaborate with experienced teams to support the daily routines of the classroom. - Bring enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude to your role. - Adapt quickly to different centre environments. - Contribute to creating meaningful learning experiences for our tamariki. Requirements To be considered for this position, you will need: - A New Zealand teaching qualification (ECE or Primary – Level 7 or higher). - Current registration with the New Zealand Teaching Council (Provisional or Full). - An NZQA-assessed qualification if you are trained overseas (Level 7 or higher, ECE endorsed). - Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
