We are committed to maintaining a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests and are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. About the Role As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our hotel operates smoothly and maintains its high standards. This position goes beyond traditional maintenance responsibilities; it is an opportunity to make a significant impact on our guests' experiences. You will be proactive and hands-on, leading efforts to keep our facilities in excellent condition. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities to ensure everything remains in top condition. - Conducting regular inspections to identify and resolve issues before they escalate. - Performing tasks such as painting, plastering, joinery, and general repairs with attention to detail. - Responding swiftly to maintenance requests to ensure seamless guest stays. - Keeping work orders organized and on schedule to ensure that no tasks are overlooked. Requirements We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: - Experience in joinery, electrical, or mechanical trades is essential, with a preference for candidates who have prior hotel maintenance experience. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues efficiently and effectively. - A team player who can also work independently when necessary. - Willingness to take on an active role and tackle challenges head-on. - Availability for 40 hours per week, including weekends and public holidays if required. - Natural leadership skills to guide and motivate a team.
