Senior Financial Accountant

About the Company Our client is a leading organization headquartered in Auckland, with a presence in several international markets. About the Role We are seeking a finance professional to join our team, reporting directly to the CFO and CCO. In this pivotal role, you will oversee core accounting processes, manage group month-end reporting, and provide financial oversight for our international operations. You will play a key part in process improvement and system implementation within our finance function. Key Responsibilities - Recognize and reconcile monthly trading revenue - Monitor cash flow and manage client money accounts - Manage accounting functions for overseas subsidiaries - Complete and finalize monthly group results - Support budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting - Assist in the implementation of a new general ledger system - Mentor and support offshore finance teams - Contribute to year-end audits and ad hoc projects Requirements - CA qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience - Experience in financial services is advantageous but not essential - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities - Self-driven, flexible, and proactive approach - Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Power BI is a plus but not required Benefits - Join an exciting and fast-growing international company - Enjoy autonomy and ownership of process improvements - Work within a collaborative and supportive management structure - Experience an excellent company culture and participate in regular social events - Competitive salary with bonus opportunities If you are interested in this position, please apply now or contact Simon Rooney at 021858919.
