About the Role
We are currently seeking a MNZAS Audiologist to join our team in Dunedin, with support for surrounding clinics in Otago, including Oamaru, Mosgiel, and Balclutha. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in adult hearing rehabilitation and hearing aid service provision that adheres to best practices. A willingness to travel to support our smaller rural clinics is essential.
In this role, you will work in a supportive and collaborative environment that encourages ongoing development and education.
The Opportunity
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing and diagnosing the extent of clients' hearing loss using a range of Bloom-approved audiological techniques.
- Providing education to clients and involving them in making informed decisions about the best hearing solutions tailored to their needs, which includes the use of various devices for successful hearing outcomes.
- Engaging in promotional activities within your region to generate new business and increase awareness of the Bloom brand and our services.
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with doctors, ENTs, and other medical practitioners to ensure Bloom is recommended as the preferred hearing provider.
Please note that applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or hold valid working rights in Australia or New Zealand to be considered for this role.
Requirements
- MNZAS accreditation
- Proven experience in adult hearing rehabilitation
- Ability to travel to rural clinics as needed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
