About the Role
We are currently seeking a MNZAS Audiologist to join our team in Dunedin, with the additional responsibility of supporting our clinics in surrounding areas such as Oamaru, Mosgiel, and Balclutha. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in adult hearing rehabilitation and hearing aid service provision based on best practices. A willingness to travel to support smaller rural clinics is essential.
In this role, you will work in a supportive and collegial environment that encourages ongoing development and education.
The Opportunity
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing and diagnosing the extent of clients' hearing loss using a variety of approved audiological techniques.
- Educating clients and involving them in their decision-making process regarding the best hearing solutions for their needs, including providing options for various devices to achieve successful outcomes.
- Engaging in promotional activities within your region to generate new business and raise awareness of the bloom brand and our services.
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with doctors, ENTs, and related medical practitioners to ensure that bloom is recommended as the preferred hearing provider.
To be considered for this role, applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or hold valid working rights in Australia or New Zealand.
Requirements
- Proven experience in adult hearing rehabilitation and hearing aid service provision.
- MNZAS accreditation.
- Willingness to travel to rural clinics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
