About the Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Line Mechanic to join our team in Paeroa, working throughout the Powerco network. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service and workmanship in construction, maintenance, and fault diagnosis/rectification of network equipment and installations. Your commitment to ensuring a safe work environment will be paramount in all aspects of your work.
Requirements
Essential qualifications for this position include:
- Relevant EWRB Line Mechanic Registration and a current practising licence
- New Zealand Qualification Framework Level 4 qualification
- Current Class 1 driver's licence
- A sound understanding of the Safety Manual Electricity Industry (SMEI) and Safe Practices for Low Voltage Electrical Work
Desirable qualifications include:
- Class 2 licence
- Two years of post-qualification experience
- Experience in fault diagnosis
