We are currently seeking a skilled Joiner to join our growing team in a fast-paced door pre-hanging factory. We take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable service, all while maintaining a friendly, solutions-focused approach. About the Role In the role of Joiner, you will be instrumental in the assembly and pre-hanging of various types of doors, including internal doors, bifolds, cavity doors, sliding doors, and barn doors. Your focus will be on ensuring quality and precision throughout the process. Additionally, you will lead and train a small team, sharing your expertise while upholding high standards of craftsmanship and safety. Key Responsibilities - Measure, cut, and assemble doors and frames - Read technical drawings and specifications - Ensure quality control and adhere to safe working practices What We’re Looking For We are looking for candidates with proven experience in joinery and timber machining. Experience in door manufacturing or pre-hanging is a valuable asset. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work accurately and efficiently within a factory setting, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. We value reliability, punctuality, and teamwork, alongside an enthusiastic personality. Our ideal candidate will also have: - A Trade Certificate in Carpentry/Joinery (preferred but not essential if you have relevant experience) - Good leadership and communication skills - A desire to expand knowledge and experience in the field - The ability to read and interpret building site plans and specifications (not essential but favorable) - Physical capability for some heavy lifting - A Full Driver’s Licence - Fluency in English communication skills Benefits We offer a competitive remuneration package aligned with your qualifications and experience, with no weekend work required.
