About the Role
We are seeking experienced Qualified Anaesthetic Technicians, Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs), and Registered Nurse Anaesthetic Assistants (RNAAs) to join our team at Waitaha. With opportunities for permanent full-time, part-time, and casual positions, we invite you to indicate your preference in your cover letter.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing professional, technical, and clinical assistance to Anaesthetists
- Ensuring the safe administration of anaesthesia to patients
- Anticipating potential problems to deliver exceptional patient care
- Coordinating documentation to guarantee effective patient management
- Mentoring trainee Anaesthetic Technicians and RNAAs

About You
We are looking for candidates with:
- A recognized qualification in New Zealand or an equivalent international qualification
- Registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand and a scope of practice as an RNAA, or eligibility to obtain it
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to embrace challenges and change
- Competency in te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori, or a commitment to starting your learning journey
- A sense of humor and self-awareness
