About the Role
We are excited to welcome a motivated individual to join our Canterbury finance team as an Accounts Administrator. This position is integral to our wider finance team, providing essential support to our contracting business units.
In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, assisting with accounts payable, and managing our financial records. Your keen attention to detail and proactive approach will be vital in delivering an exceptional experience for our staff, suppliers, and customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Generating and distributing invoices to our customers and resolving any queries promptly and professionally
- Entering and maintaining accurate financial data, including month-end reconciliations
- Supporting accounts payable functions, vendor setup, and customer credit checks
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts administration role or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Previous experience with JDE software is advantageous
