About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Class-2 driver based in Ngauranga, Wellington, who possesses excellent customer service skills. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities beyond driving. You will be tasked with ensuring timely and secure deliveries of bins, collaborating with our Information Management team, and nurturing strong client relationships. This is a permanent, full-time role, guaranteeing 40 hours of work per week, and applicants must have the right to work full-time in New Zealand.
Key Accountabilities
In this role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining company vehicles in a tidy and well-functioning condition.
- Safely and efficiently loading, transporting, and delivering secure destruction bins to our customers.
- Providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and managing client feedback.
- Upholding high standards of health, safety, and compliance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A current Class 2 driver’s license with a minimum of 12 months of truck driving experience.
- An OSH and F endorsed Forklift license is ideal but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational and navigational skills to effectively manage your daily schedule.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with customers, building rapport and maintaining successful client relationships.
- Physical fitness, as you will be handling 240L wheelie bins filled with paper.
- A commitment to ethics, integrity, and safety standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
