About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled Driver and Hydro Excavation Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate hydro excavation trucks and equipment across a variety of worksites. Your primary responsibility will be to support safe and precise work around underground infrastructure. This is a weekend-based position, ideal for someone who is dependable, physically fit, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: - Proven experience with hydro excavation or vac trucks - A current KiwiRail induction (this is a requirement) - A Category 3 medical certificate (this is a requirement) - A Class 2 licence (essential) - A Class 4 licence (highly desirable) - A solid understanding of health and safety practices on site - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Availability for weekend shifts Benefits We offer a competitive hourly rate and provide personal protective equipment from day one.
