About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our Canterbury plant, located near Ashburton. This is a permanent, full-time position that operates on a rotating roster. The primary purpose of this role is to support our Engineering team in ensuring the production process runs smoothly. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining all electrical equipment on site, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and New Zealand wiring regulations. Given the fast-paced nature of our environment, this position will be varied and busy, requiring a candidate who can demonstrate strong organizational skills and a genuine enthusiasm for working in a processing environment. Requirements - A current practicing certificate as a New Zealand Registered Electrician - A solid understanding of Health and Safety requirements within a processing or manufacturing setting - A minimum of five years of proven knowledge and experience with electrical systems and electronics in manufacturing or food processing industries - Proficiency in computer skills - Familiarity with monitoring and auditing systems for compliance - Ability to diagnose issues related to electrical and process control - A working knowledge of mechanical systems Benefits We are committed to supporting and developing our employees, and we offer a competitive remuneration package.
