About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team in a client-facing role. In this position, you will focus on promoting and supporting automation solutions, including sliding and swing gate motors, automatic doors, turnstiles, and access control systems. Your primary responsibility will be to grow and maintain a loyal trade customer base while delivering technical product advice and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Promote and sell a range of automation and access control products.
- Provide both pre- and post-sales technical support to our customers.
- Prepare quotes, manage client needs, and support account management efforts.
- Conduct product training and demonstration sessions for installers and trade partners.
- Attend industry events and collaborate with the national sales team to identify growth areas.
- Support daily branch operations as needed.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of three years of experience in technical sales or support, preferably in access control or automation systems.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain system functionality clearly.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
