About the Role We are seeking motivated individuals to join our chip seal crew in the Bay of Plenty and surrounding areas. Whether you are an experienced class 5 bitumen sprayer operator, chip truck driver, chip sealing operator, or a dedicated chip sealing laborer, if you possess determination, skill, and a strong work ethic, we would love to have you on our team. In this role, you will be responsible for: - Safely operating a bitumen sprayer and class 5 truck, demonstrating your expertise behind the wheel. - Operating and maintaining chip seal machinery to ensure smooth road construction. - Collaborating with the team to complete tasks efficiently and safely. - Conducting daily pre-start checks and adhering to health and safety protocols diligently. Requirements To be considered for this position, you will need: - A clean, full class 5 license with the ability to drive large trucks. - Experience in chip sealing and road construction machinery; familiarity with the field is essential. - A keen attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work; a cowboy hat is optional. - A positive attitude, strong team spirit, and a readiness to contribute actively. - An understanding of health and safety practices, ensuring that every team member can return home safely to their families.
