About the Role
As the Foundations Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our residential and commercial foundation projects. Your duties will include managing crews, coordinating schedules, and liaising with clients and subcontractors to ensure that every project is executed smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards. This dynamic leadership position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of foundation crews across multiple projects
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, materials, and equipment
- Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, sales representatives, and internal teams
- Collate project documentation for back-costing and ensure accurate reporting
- Identify irregularities or potential issues early and implement effective solutions
- Lead, mentor, and train crew members to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Uphold company policies, code of conduct, and foster a safe, productive work environment
Requirements
Essential
- Experience in concrete foundations or a related construction field
- Proven supervisory or management experience in construction
- Strong knowledge of both residential and commercial foundation systems
- A current driver's license
- Ability to pass a criminal check and drug test
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting geotechnical and architectural plans
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Computer literacy for scheduling, reporting, and communication
