About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join our expanding Civil Earthmoving team. In this role, you will leverage your operating skills and leadership abilities to oversee daily operations on site. You will be responsible for leading, supervising, and motivating a team that includes subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to our high standards.
As a Civil Foreman, your responsibilities will include operating various heavy machinery and completing tasks related to earthworks, drainage, and construction. You will work on a variety of large-scale subdivisions, land development, and commercial sites, contributing to projects that extend into 2026 and beyond.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in Civil Construction
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, rollers, and dump trucks is preferred
- Full Clean Class 1 license with WTR; Class 2 is preferred
- Willingness to be hands-on and participate in on-site work when required
- Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
- Competent understanding of Health and Safety procedures
- Site Safe Passport is preferable
- Ability to pass all pre-employment checks
- Permanent residency or the right to live and work in New Zealand is required
Benefits
We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $35 to $42, depending on experience, along with a company vehicle.
