About the Role We are searching for an experienced and dedicated butcher to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will expertly cut, trim, and prepare a wide variety of meats to meet our customers' preferences and specifications. You will also maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers in selecting the perfect cuts of meat, offering guidance and suggestions as needed. You will operate and maintain meat processing equipment, ensuring all tools are in proper working condition. Additionally, you will collaborate with team members to create visually appealing product displays and take ownership of our Meat Bar, crafting an enticing display each morning and regularly introducing new ideas to keep our offerings fresh and exciting. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should be a qualified or experienced butcher with a thorough understanding of meat cuts and preparation techniques. A strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential, along with exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members. We are looking for someone with the physical stamina and dexterity to handle cutting tools and stand for extended periods. A detail-oriented approach and a focus on delivering top-quality products are crucial, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Days & Hours This position is available for the following shifts: - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5 AM to 1 PM - OR - Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 5 AM to 1 PM The hourly rate for this position ranges from $24.50 to $31.00, depending on experience.
