About the Role We are seeking Assistant Collectors to join our field collection team based in Fielding. In this role, you will work outdoors alongside a driver, traveling to various farms to collect and load containers of colostrum before unloading them at our depot's cold storage facility. This position involves physical labor and is well-suited for someone who is reliable, physically fit, and comfortable working in varying weather conditions. While your primary responsibility will be to assist as a vehicle passenger, it is essential to possess a full New Zealand driver's license, as there may be occasions when you are required to drive. Key Responsibilities - Assist with the on-farm collection of containers, ensuring safe handling and loading procedures are followed. - Support the unloading process into the depot's cold storage area. - Collaborate closely with the driver to ensure collections are conducted smoothly and in a timely manner. - Adhere to all safety protocols both on the farm and at the depot. Shifts Available - Thursday to Sunday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Sunday to Wednesday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Requirements - A full New Zealand driver's license with confidence in driving when necessary. - Physically fit and capable of lifting weights up to 25 kg. - Reliable transportation to and from the depot. - Ability to work in an outdoor, farm-based environment. - Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check. - Ability to meet the requirements of a medical assessment.
