About the Role We are currently seeking dedicated Head Teachers to lead in our centres across Auckland, catering to both under-2 and over-2 age groups. Each of our centres possesses a unique personality shaped by its team and local community, yet all share a common goal: to maintain calm and connected spaces where our tamariki can flourish. This role offers a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the curriculum, mentoring and supporting your team of Kaiako, and building warm, respectful relationships with tamariki and their whānau. You will also ensure that high standards of health, safety, and care are upheld, while championing your room's vision and values in alignment with BestStart's overarching philosophy.
