About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Centre (DC) Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be an essential connection between our warehouse operations and customer satisfaction. Your efforts will ensure seamless deliveries and exceptional service experiences for our customers across New Zealand. This position offers a unique opportunity to become a logistics problem-solver, with your contributions being immediately recognized and valued in various areas of our operations.
What You’ll Be Working On
As a DC Administrator, you will support the efficient day-to-day operations of our Distribution Centre. Your responsibilities will include balancing frontline customer service with key administrative and logistical tasks. This will involve freight coordination, inventory support, home delivery bookings, and clerical duties to keep our operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle customer service inquiries and coordinate home deliveries.
- Support daily DC operations, including stock transfers, order waving, and inventory control.
- Assist with financial processes such as invoice handling and supplier coordination.
- Manage returns, documentation, and general administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational policies.
Requirements
We are seeking a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in logistics or warehouse administration roles is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving and planning abilities.
- Intermediate Excel skills; familiarity with pivot tables is a plus.
