About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable people leader to fill a crucial role in our retail store in Christchurch. As a Sales Manager, you will play a key part in our efforts to grow and expand within the Hamilton region. This is a full-time position requiring 45 hours of work per week, from Monday to Saturday.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing product profitability and sales performance
- Training and developing staff to enhance their skills
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with both new and existing customers
- Ensuring accurate stock management and maintaining quality control
- Adhering to best practices in Health & Safety procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full, clean New Zealand Driver's License
- A minimum of three years of proven management experience, showcasing your retail sales and people management skills
- Previous experience in the tyre or automotive industry
- An exceptional attitude and a positive approach to work
- A determination and desire to inspire and lead your team
- Strong commercial acumen and business management skills
