About the Role As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of complex machinery. Your expertise will ensure that our equipment operates efficiently and safely in our industrial setting. You will be responsible for assembling machine parts, installing new production machinery, and performing regular maintenance checks to keep everything running smoothly. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: - Assemble and install machine parts and new production machinery, primarily using metal and other materials. - Conduct regular maintenance checks, diagnose faults, and execute necessary repairs to ensure optimal machinery performance. - Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify solutions, and maintain efficient production levels. - Ensure that all machinery complies with safety regulations and operates safely. Requirements To be successful in this position, you should possess: - A strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in manufacturing or heavy industry. - Technical knowledge to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and schematics. - Proficiency in using various tools, such as welding machines, grinders, and drilling machines. - Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and efficiently resolve mechanical issues.
